To share a sneak peek into their glitzy lives, Amazon Prime Video is releasing a new show titled, The Tribe and here’s everything we know about it including the cast and the release date.
Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, the new unscripted series is co-produced by Apoorva Mehta and Aneesha Baig. The series will feature five popular content creators. It also features Jaaved Jaaferi who takes a dig at the expanding market of social media influencers in the trailer of The Tribe. He says, “Koi bhi lukha aake influencers ban jata hai” (Any no-name person becomes an influencer in today’s time).

The Tribe is scheduled to be released on 4 October 2024 on Amazon Prime Video. It features Alanna Panday, Alaviaa Jaaferi, Srushti Porey, Aryaana Gandhi, and Alfia Jafry. It also features digital evangelist and investor, Hardik Zaveri. The trailer gives a glimpse into the concept of the show exposing the lives of “rich brats” in Los Angeles, USA.
The clip also introduces the viewers to the ‘Collab Tribe’. As per the official Instagram page of Collab Tribe, it is a “movement based on like-minded souls coming together and having a time of their lives unconditionally and sharing views on things and places that they genuinely love.” The girls will stay together and make content on social media. In the clip, Zaveri can be seen telling them, “You guys can easily make 10-12 million a year.” It is not clear whether he was speaking in terms of dollars or rupees. Regardless, the main motive of the Tribe House appears to be maximising money from social media content.
However, every Karan Johar-backed venture is incomplete without drama. The trailer gave a glimpse into the cat-fights, drama, glamour and nitty-gritty of creating content and staying together. The audience will see the popular girls of the internet fighting over a spacious room.
As quoted by Indian Express, Hardik Zaveri stated, “My vision is to bring this incredible group of talented women together under one roof, to create dynamic content as a united force. I firmly believe that working as a collective amplifies everything—whether it’s wealth, fame, or style. My role in this journey is to provide them with the tools and resources they need to achieve all that and more.”
